Oh what fun it is to ride
How many times we've said that is better to do real stuff?
No more photoshop filters from now on. If you want a b/w picture turn yourself in b/w.
That's it.
Merry Christmas anyway.

Have you seen it?
Well, first of all I love the series... but I think the opening sequence is pretty nice... maybe I'm just too much into it, could be.
Let's go for another episode!
Photoshop, once more!
I was actually wondering why Madonna is still looking like a virgin...
Here we are: Another photoshop's miracle!
More examples can be found here and here, enjoy! some of them are super disgusting.
We've been always against the over use of photo retouching, today the lesson is, if you really need to do it, at least do it properly!
[happy new year!]

Another one going green?
It's now clear what all the worst companies around are trying to do: it is an attempt to pulverize the the green colour's skill of communicating environment friendly attitudes.
We we'll be soon surrounded by green crap everywhere.

Being Marc Ecko
This guy made one of my favourite hoodie.
And is making even pretty cool entries on his blog.
Worth to give a look.

"Free fonts have met their match. We know how hard it is to find quality freeware that is licensed for commercial work. We've done the hard work, hand-selecting these typefaces and presenting them in an easy-to-use format."

Feltron eight
Nicholas Feltron' s personal vizualization 2008, after the old one (the first image is from 2006) good thing that he went on with his freak analysis!
I'd be curious to see the information graphic of the time he spent taking notes of his life, maybe it's already there, hidden somewhere in the book!

Beautiful!
I wanted just to put something beautiful before going to sleep.
Just because sometimes I guess that more beauty is all what we need.

"The most amazing thing is that they do this with their CLOTHES (not holding up cards). they have a jacket that is one color on the back, one on the front, and that they can open or close to show a third color shirt on the inside."
Keep it real.

Buuuuuuuullshit!
How sad?
Surfing around the internet looking for "inspirations" we run into this logos' supermarket. Absolutely nothing funny... a website where you can design, on line, your own logo with no needs to ask to any designers.
Just to be clear this is absolutely not how graphic design works.
That's crap.
Quoting from a comment in the blog where we found the link:
"You can delete this if you like, I won’t be offended, but SERIOUSLY! You’re advertising a fast-food logo site on a graphic design blog? I am seriously offended. Yes you can make stuff for free, but sites like this take away both business from people like me and the artistic integrity of our profession. It’s just sleezy."
God save graphic design!

That's just another reason why we don't like Photoshop, post production and all those bullshits.

Syria
We're always talking about middle east. Today we were curious about how the middle east look like, how are exactly located the countries... how far is Iran from Turkey, and Georgia from Syria, and so on...
Now we know a little bit more. Hurray!

Damn' money!
Buongiorno blog!
We’ve recently run into this crazy guy who is actually tearing to pieces what is the base of our society. He does turn money into art, already gaining a great merit this way. Apparently his compositions are made out of true chopped dollars, but then, after asking ourselves how to make such a mad action (damn euros the smallest is 5, already too much), we’ve been thinking about the great potential this experience could have. When and how the matter of what we are looking at is affecting the way we receive the message?
